GENERAL INFORMATION
The 22nd Annual Shamrock Run, Walk, Tots Trot will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2010. For this year's Run we have successfully had our 5K and 10K races certified by the USA Track and Field Association!! Also, there will be CASH PRIZES for the top three male and female finishers of the 5K and 10K Runs!
Our charitable beneficiary for 2010 will be the Davie County YMCA! Davie County businesses are requested and encouraged to participate in sponsorship of the 2010 Shamrock Run. Please contact Paul Nice for sponsorship information.
Last year we had a record number of participants in our race!! Approximately 450 runners, walkers, and "Tot Trotters" were registered. We thank all who participated and The Davie County Advocacy Center, the main beneficiary of this race, also thanks you!! We look forward to another record breaking year in 2010.
In 2009 we had over 150 participants register "day-of" which really slowed up the computer input process. This year we are making efforts to streamline the registration process, provide for a faster, automated finish line time recording, and an early-entry registration discount incentive and a "day-of" deterrent: the registration fee for the race is $25, however if you register on-or-before January 30, 2010 the fee is only $20. Day-of Race fee is $30. All fees include official Race T-shirt and various "goodies" and are non-refundable.

The Quality Inn of Mocksville is the official hotel for race participants who would like to arrive early, pre-register, enjoy our pre-race day hospitality* and stay overnight. They have agreed to furnish attendees with a reduced room rate for anyone coming in Friday night, March 5th AND will support our beneficiary of this race with a charitable donation!

DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE / CHURCH
From the West (Statesville, Asheville, Barstow):
Take Interstate 40 East
Take exit 170 toward Mocksville
Turn right off the exit onto US-601/Yadkinville Rd for 1.3 miles
Turn left onto Yadkinville Rd (a Walgreens will be on your left)
The church is on your right next to SunTrust Bank.From the East (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh, Wilmington)
Take Interstate 40 West (recommending BLUE I-40 around Winston-Salem)
Take exit 170 toward Mocksville.
Turn left off of exit onto US-601 / Yadkinville Rd for 1.3 miles
Turn left onto Yadkinville Rd (a Walgreens will be on your left)
The church is on your right next to SunTrust Bank.From the North (Yadkinville, Mt. Airy)
Take US-601 South. In Mocksville proper, US-601 is Yadkinville Rd
Pass Walmart and cross over I-40.
Follow Yadkinville Rd for 1.3 miles and turn Left at Walgreens onto Yadkinville road (still)
The church is on your right next to SunTrust Bank.From the South (Charlotte, Columbia-SC)
Take Interstate 77 North to Exit 51A, Interstate 40 East
Follow Interstate 40 East to exit 170 toward Mocksville
Turn right off the exit onto US-601/Yadkinville Rd for 1.3 miles
Turn left onto Yadkinville Rd (a Walgreens will be on your left)
