The Parish Hall is undergoing a facelift inside.

We would like to thank Tony Palozzolo for his hard work in tearing out the old carpet and laying down the new flooring.  Also, we thank Paul Nice and his crew from Mr. Sandless for finishing the floor by "finishing" it.

After-Mass Hospitality!

As the ad goes: "Life comes at you fast".  St. Francis of Assisi offers you an opportunity to relax for a few moments after the 10:30 mass in our hall.  Have a cup of coffee / juice, a cookie, muffin, whatever may be available.  Let the parking lot clear out, relax, have a refreshment, talk to some old friends and meet some new ones.  Remember, we're a Parish Family!

After-Mass Hospitality is staffed by volunteers who donate their time and refreshments.  A sign-up list is provided on the kitchen door for those would like to help out.  Contact David Taylor for more information.

Thank You!!

New English Translation of the Roman Missal

Avoid "MASS Confusion"!
Review and refer to the New Translation missal guides and cards!!

The New Translation became in effective on the First Sunday of ADVENT

The Holy See has approved the new English translation of the Roman Missal submitted to it by the US Bishops.  The new texts will be mandatory on the First Sunday of Advent 2011.  Between now and then, parishes throughout the English-speaking world will be preparing for the change through clear catechesis.  The Mass is our central act of faith.  Therefore, it is incumbent upon each of us to continually renew our knowledge of our Catholic faith and seek to better understand its richness and beauty.  With this in mind, I would encourage each of you to visit the USCCB website http://www.usccb.org/romanmissal to learn more on your own.  The material found there is easily accessible and will be an opportunity for you to study and pray as we prepare for Advent 2011.
